Das Kadizora Camp liegt abgelegenen nördlichen Teil des Okavango-Deltas in Botswana, genauer gesagt zwischen dem Vumbura River und dem Selinda Spillway. Es bietet einen Panoramablick auf saisonale Überschwemmungsgebiete und ist von üppiger Vegetation umgeben.
Das Camp verfügt über komfortable Zeltchalets, darunter Standard-, Luxuszelte und eine Deluxe-Villa, alle mit eigenem Bad und privater Veranda. Der Hauptbereich umfasst zwei Loungezelte, ein Speisezelt, eine Bar auf einer erhöhten Plattform mit Blick auf die Landschaft, einen Swimmingpool und einen Souvenirladen.
Die Hauptaktivitäten konzentrieren sich auf Wildbeobachtungsfahrten in offenen Allradfahrzeugen, die sowohl tagsüber als auch nachts stattfinden. Je nach Wasserstand werden auch saisonal Bushwalks, Mokoro-Einbaumfahrten und Motorbootausflüge angeboten. Das Camp ist bekannt für seine hervorragende Gastfreundschaft, die aufmerksamen Guides und die hochwertige Verpflegung. This is an amazing lodge in the north of the Okavango Delta. It is very luxurious in an understated way. Our tent had a huge bed and good shower (luxury tents have baths). The food is amazing and we were treated like royalty. A beautiful bar with every drink you could want and dinner served under the stars with beautiful lighting and a fire pit.
There are a variety of activities - game drives with our guide ST were extraordinary. He used local knowledge and animal tracks to find zebra, lions, leopard, elephant and buffalo. He was so skilled and so helpful. We took advantage of the boat trip and being punted in a mokoro. But a real highlight was a trip to the local village with Pat. We had the chance to see round the school and clinic and joined in the dance of welcome from a group of local women. This was not a regular tourist outing, we had the impression that it was unusual for the villagers to see white people. Pat was extraordinary - so knowledgeable and friendly. Altogether an amazing stay. This camp is far from cheap, but it was amazing to have the experience.
Großes Potenzial, aber viele Kleinigkeiten, die verbessert werden können. Ein frühes Frühstück könnte zu Diabetes führen 😂 Die Lage ist wunderschön, mit vielen Freizeitmöglichkeiten, insbesondere den unvergesslichen Bootsausflügen, und einem exzellenten Reiseleiter. Das Essen ist eher durchschnittlich, aber die Weinauswahl ist gut. Die Atmosphäre erinnert manchmal an „Die Addams Family 2“ oder ein Jugendcamp 😉
Flying in from Kasane airport, on a small plane, a short 1 hour + 20 flight was incredible. Met at the airstrip by our guide Navas, (the next chief of his village) the camp is a short 15 minute drive. The delta was still rising and a few places were flooded, but in general we could access everything. Unlike the other camps we had been too, which were national parks, off track driving is permitted in this camp. We did feel that the animals were much more hesitant around vehicles and moved away quickly, which wasn’t like that elsewhere.
The camp itself is immaculate (very Out of Africa) chalet style buildings for each room were spacious, shower, outside bath, clean, open fronted with nets only for a view. You can hear nocturnal animals moving round at night, I saw a porcupine under my deck one night, and a hippo silhouette not far away too. The team were fantastic, friendly, very keen to help, and made me a birthday cake for my birthday, and sang amazing songs (very talented singers!) plus took us on a night safari, which was truly amazing. We did a boat safari, plus a Mokoro canoe safari too, saw lions eating a freshly killed buffalo and many hippos during our 3 nights. Our guide was very knowledgeable, and it was a treat to hear him talk about the area. The camp has around 6-8 chalets, so under 20 guests at any one time, but it was great to mix with others at pre dinner drink time. The food was incredible, my niece who travelled with us, liked simple food, and once the team found out they made her a special meal without asking which was so nice. I am very grateful to have stayed here. Tipping is usually $USD15-20 per day pp, for guides, and some for housekeeping and staff too (tip box in restaurant). On leaving we were taken back to the airstrip by our guide, to fly 1 hr to Naxi Pan. Bring layers, and binoculars, and a camera is handy.
Just spent three nights here and the location, facilities and staff were wonderful and really, everything was faultless. Can highly recommend a stay here
What an exceptional experience staying on the Delta. Our suite was amazing - spacious and magnificently appointed with an outdoor bath, twin basins and separate toilet. Plenty of storage and so much space to relax. On top of that our guide and the staff at the camp really went above and beyond to ensure we saw everything the Delta has to offer - wildlife, birdlife and their varying habitats. Highly recommend staying here to experience your safari!

Das Okavango-Delta ist berühmt für seine reiche Artenvielfalt und beherbergt eine der größten Elefantenpopulationen der Welt sowie eine bemerkenswerte Anzahl von Büffeln, Giraffen, Zebras, Gnus und verschiedenen Antilopenarten.
